The Mechanics of Change: The Belief Cycle

Research in cognitive psychology suggests that the vast majority—estimated at 95%—of our brain’s processing occurs at the subconscious level.

It's the subconscious mind that is the storehouse for our beliefs, and it’s from our beliefs that our perceptions about the world and ourselves are formed.

Our beliefs drive our thoughts, feelings and actions, and from these we form habits and behaviors.

Often, the most effective way to change an unwanted habit/ behavior is to change the subconscious belief(s) that support it.
